SESSIONS & COST

As counselling & psychotherapy is a largely unregulated profession,
therapists can charge whatever they choose for their services.

It's worth researching therapists training and experience, as this isn't always in line with what they are charging.

For my level of training and experience, my fees are more than fair.

If you are attending in person and would like to arrange to pay by cash, please email me in the first instance requesting this.

If you have not seen me before, I will require payment for at least your initial appointment before I see you.
 

 
Note: that I no longer take referrals for any kind of social work, or medico-legal work.
I like to take self-referrals only where possible.

​I don't offer free consultations because I don't ​need to. It's usually newer therapists, and those who struggle to fill their schedules, offering these.

Missed or cancelled appointments with strictly less than 48hrs notice are charged for in full.

(This is because if you do not attend then I loose the amount of the session, and also the loss of time, where I could of been doing something else, as well as the admin time..)
 

Prices are reviewed in October & April each year,
​and will probably increase to cover the ever rising costs of running a practice Ltd. company and inflation.
You will be informed 1 month prior where possible.
